Star is a 1-year-old, spayed female with an adoption fee of $145, and she's every bit as striking as her name suggests. Rescued by a kind Samaritan and cared for over eight months, she's now looking for a forever home where she can feel safe, understood, and loved.

What Makes Star Shine, she is a little sassy at first: She may give you a "hmm, who are you?" look in the beginning, but it's all part of her charm.

Shy but deeply sweet, She prefers to keep to herself until she feels comfortable, and then she softens beautifully.

A one-and-only kind of girl, she hasn't lived with other cats or dogs, so a calm, predictable home will help her thrive. No small children please, she does not like to be picked up until she is comfortable. She's a slow-blossoming companion, once she decides you're her person, she'll show affection in her own gentle, heartfelt way.
