A caring neighbor had been looking out for her for quite some time, making sure she had food and a friendly face, as her previous home could no longer provide the care she needed. Thanks to that kindness, Goose is now safe at WARL and ready for a fresh start.

Because she spent years feeling unsure and overlooked, Goose is understandably shy right now. She's still learning that people can be gentle, consistent, and trustworthy. With patience and a calm environment, she has every chance to blossom into a loving, loyal companion. She just needs someone willing to show her what safety feels like.

Goose would thrive in a quiet home with one or two devoted people who can give her the time, space, and steady affection she needs to build confidence. For now, she should be the only pet in the home, though once she's settled and secure, she may be able to meet another calm animal in the future.
