LITTLE-BIT, this itty bitty kitty came from the food trucks in West Haven CT. They dodged cars to get food, trying to find food was often deadly. We do not know what happened to her eye but we do know it does not bother her. Our vet said leave it alone, she is blind in that eye but does not know it. Bitty is always where the action is and every now and then is fresh with a cat for fun. She is well adjusted if you do not show her a carrier. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home!

Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.
A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!
Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.
Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit.
If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
