Meet Morticia: or as we affectionately call her, Tish (sometimes Ticia).
This long haired beauty was rescued from a feral colony and originally headed for our barn cat program. But she had other plans. From the start, she showed a clear interest in people and quickly proved she was meant to be an indoor companion, not a working barn cat.
Since then, Tish has taken on an important role helping more timid foster cats learn to trust humans and other cats. She is gentle, easygoing, and wonderfully floppy: think a petite, black and silver ragdoll type cat with a playful streak. She gets along well with other friendly cats and will happily join the household hierarchy as long as she gets to be first at the food dish. (She is very food motivated.)
Her long, soft, fluffy coat is every bit as lovely as it looks, and she enjoys being brushed! When she relaxes, Tish will stretch out across the floor like a luxurious fur rug, completely at ease. At under a year old, she still has bursts of kitten energy, but overall she is more mellow than your typical little house panther.
A sunny window, a soft bed, or your attention (especially when paired with treats) will make her day. Would you pamper this easygoing young cat, with her cute button nose and frosted coat? If so, Tish is more than ready to meet you! She has been practicing companionship her whole life now she just needs her forever home.

NOTE: Meow Village is an all foster-based rescue, so all questions and inquiries about the kitties should be directed to their foster families. Thank you!
