Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

hi. I'm Redbull. I'm a shy, but very sweet little boy. My siblings and I were found outside and were brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control. Despite being super adorable, no rescues were giving us a chance because we were feral and had never been around humans before. St. Sophia's took a chance on us and took us into foster and named us after energy drinks. I've got the cutest little expressions, (I always look confused,) and have a little half tail that is sure to win your heart. I've come out of my shell a ton, I am a bit skittish still that I sometimes get spooked and run when my foster family reaches for me, but once I am in her arms, I absolutely melt. With continued love and snuggles, I am going to become an absolute lover boy.

My brother Monster is my bestie. I love him so much. We are constantly rough housing and playing and taking one another down, and when we aren't, you'll find us curled up snuggling together. We would love to stay together, he's kind of my comfort item, but I do understand if that's not possible. I really need another friendly kitty in my new home but if you already have a kitty who is willing to take me under their wing, that's okay too.

Adoption Information

Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home.

Adoption Fees



Kittens (under 6 months): $150


Adults (over 6 months): $125


Seniors / Special Needs: $75

We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you're ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.


Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
