Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Hi! Monster here! Don't let my name fool you though, I'm an absolute sweetie pie, (well unless you have food, then I am a little Monster.) We are just named for energy drinks. My siblings and I were found outside and were brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control. Despite being super adorable, no rescues were giving us a chance because we were feral and had never been around humans before. St. Sophia's saw our potential and was up to the challenge of snuggling the spicy out, and oh did they. I am the absolute lovebug of my family. I love to snuggle and seek out the humans every chance I get and love to curl up and binge some tv together.

I am besties with my brother, Redbull and we would love to stay together. He's the best toy in my house because we love to rough house and then snuggle in our kitty hammock together. However, I am totally fine going home by myself if you've got a playful kitty friend for me at home though. Oh, my other requirement for adoption is Churu treats. LOTS AND LOTS of Churus. Adoption Information

Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home.

Adoption Fees



Kittens (under 6 months): $150


Adults (over 6 months): $125


Seniors / Special Needs: $75

We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you're ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.


Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
