Woodland is a 3-year-old beauty with a gentle soul and a quiet presence. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a bit of time and you’ll discover just how sweet and affectionate she truly is. Once she feels safe, she’ll happily keep you company while you relax at home.

Woodland knows what she likes — and she isn’t afraid to tell you! She can be a tiny bit bossy (in the most charming way), whether she’s reminding you it’s dinner time or requesting the perfect lounging spot on the couch. Think of her as your soft-spoken little supervisor who just wants things done her way.

Her favorite hobby? Lounging. Woodland is all about cozy naps, sunny windowsills, and peaceful afternoons. She would thrive in a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace and enjoy a laid-back lifestyle.

If you’re looking for a quiet companion with a sweet heart and a little bit of sass, Woodland might just be your perfect match. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
