Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Westminster, Maryland

Meet this striking 2 year old cat, Nugget, who is as charming as he is handsome. With his sleek, glossy coat and quiet presence, he tends to take things slowly- observing the world quietly in his space. Though Nugget may be a little shy at first, he has a soft, sensitive nature and is beginning to show glimpses of curiosity- especially when things are calm and gentle. With patience and consistency, he will continue to build trust and come out of his shell at his own pace. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
