This is the sweet, tuxedo clad boy is the aptly named, Tux. Tux and his brother, Diamond came to us after a kind person found them as stray kitties, and took care of them until we had room for them at the shelter. Tux has an estimated birthdate of 1/24/25, so he's just one year young. This cool cat, and his equally cool brother are pretty low maintenance guys. Tux is the more shy kitty of the two brothers, but still as sweet as can be. He relies on Diamond for confidence and comfort, but is still well socialized and loves people. They both love receiving pets, love and affection from the staff and the volunteers at the shelter, and will light up immediately. They are both rather quiet boys, and don't ask for much. Their favorite thing to do is to cuddle up together and take long cat naps. They will also play when the opportunity presents itself. They like toy mice, kitty catnip kickers and toys with feathers. These dynamic duo would love to be adopted together if at all possible, as it would be the best arrangement for both. It's not a requirement, but kitties do best in pairs, are happier, and have less behavioral issues. And honestly, two kitties really aren't any more work that one! Again, it's not a requirement that they be adopted together, but we sure would love to see them stay together if possible. These cuties would do great in a home where they are the only kitties ruling the roost, or in a home with other kitties. With their laid back personalities, they would be fine with other kitties, but slow and proper introductions are a must. We don't know how they would do with dogs, but we think that they would be fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog. With their wonderful dispositions, these great guys would do wonderful with children too. These two really do check all of the boxes! Would you like to meet the marvelous, Tux and hopefully his brother, Diamond as well? If so, please complete an application and once you're approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet.
