Thalia is a lovely kitty who came into our rescue in November 2025 after being found homeless. She was already spayed and microchipped, which tells us she once had a family. Sadly, despite efforts to locate her previous owners, no one ever came forward.
Today, Thalia is healthy and slowly gaining confidence as she continues to work on her socialization skills. During the day, she prefers the comfort of her foster’s second bedroom, even though her food, toys, and favorite beds have been moved into the main living area. At night, however, she’s much more adventurous—coming out to explore and showing her playful side when the house is quiet.
Thalia is still learning what it means to feel safe and loved. She’s shy and easily startled, especially by quick movements. She enjoys gentle, slow petting but isn’t ready to be picked up just yet. What she needs most is a calm, peaceful home with someone who understands that trust is built over time.
Thalia would thrive with a patient adopter who:
• Doesn’t expect instant cuddles
• Is willing to offer space, consistency, and reassurance
• Can build trust slowly, helping her gain confidence at her own pace
