My name is Rex. I was living outside in Poplar Bluff getting food and attention from a nice lady. Her husband was allergic to me, so I had to stay outside. She noticed I was limping on my front leg and had a toenail barely hanging on on my back paw. She did not have the funds to get me to a vet, so she surrendered me to this rescue group. By the time my foster dad could come get me, my toenail had fallen out and my paw scabbed over. My dad got me to the vet and I was put on antibiotics because my leg was a bit swollen and had a puncture wound in my armpit. I am super friendly and playful. I am slightly vocal. As of Jan 30, 2026, I am approximately 1 year young. For more information email muttly sloat5@yahoo.com
