Stephanie is a 4-month-old female torby kitten with a story of strength, resilience, and second chances. Born with a congenital condition called Pectus Excavatum, Stephanie’s rib cage curved inward, causing labored breathing that would eventually have led to an untimely death if left untreated.
She and her littermates arrived at a local shelter when they were only a few days old and were lovingly bottle-fed by a devoted foster mom. Thankfully, Stephanie’s condition was discovered early—but due to the high cost of corrective surgery, she was facing euthanasia.
That’s when Purrfect Angels Cat Rescue stepped in and did what they do best: saving a life that deserved a chance.
Stephanie bravely underwent treatment and spent five long weeks wearing a breast plate, isolated with limited mobility—no kitten friends, no playtime, just patience and determination. Today, she is breast-plate free, breathing comfortably, and finally able to live life like a normal kitten again.
Best of all, Stephanie has been joyfully reunited with her best friend Tiffany, and the two are truly inseparable. Stephanie has blossomed into a wonderfully well-adjusted kitten with a humorous, adventurous personality and a playful spirit that makes everyone smile.
We are now accepting adoption applications for Stephanie and Tiffany, as they are a bonded pair
