I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Quasar, and I am a great kitty! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself.
What the Shelter Says About Me: Quasar, or 'Q' as those who love him call him, is the sweetest hunk of an orange guy ever. Sadly he had a bit of bad luck before coming to the shelter! Quasar had a traumatic injury to his left eye and it ruptured. (So we took him to the vet, he had surgery and the lids sewn close...better for him.) Now he masquerades as a plush pirate who is out to steal your heart - Arggh matey, I am Captain Q! This boy will sit in your lap for as long as allow and adores being brushed while he flips and rolls. (He does need to lose some weight and build some muscle.) Quasar is a talkative social type and hasn't found much of anything he doesn't like, especially the affection he gets from humans. He has lived alone in a kitty condo in our Cat Room, and he has lived in a room full of strong women (female cats) plus rambunctious teen boys (again kitties) and he much prefers the company of others. He greets everyone at the door and eagerly awaits whatever the volunteers bring to him - be it food, treats or love. Quasar is a very special and unique fella who is searching for a new and exciting adventures in life and needs a best friend.
