Viotti's story started in a parking lot, where this handsome two year old tom cat was found roaming around on his own. Since then, he has been responsibly neutered and has fully embraced his new chapter of indoor life. These days, he is known affectionately as “Big Boy,” and the name fits both his size and his sweet personality. Viotti still has the big cheeks and strong features of a former tomcat, which gives him the most endearing slightly sad expression. Don't be fooled though, he's a very content and relaxed boy.
Despite everything he has been through, Viotti is incredibly chill and relaxed. Nothing seems to ruffle him. He didn't even mind wearing the infamous cone of shame during recovery. He takes life as it comes and handles it with quiet confidence.
When he arrived, he had a puncture wound that is currently healing. He is on the mend and will be back to full strength very soon. Through it all, he has remained gentle and easygoing.
Viotti is FIV positive. Cats with FIV can and do live long, healthy, completely normal lives. FIV is only spread through deep, aggressive bite wounds, typically from unneutered males fighting. It is not spread through sharing food bowls, litter boxes, grooming, or casual play. Viotti is not aggressive and has a laid back temperament, making him a very low risk companion in the right home.
Big Boy is ready for a safe, loving home where he can leave his roaming days behind and enjoy the comfort he deserves. If you are looking for a calm, steady, affectionate companion with a resilient spirit and a heart of gold, Viotti is ready to settle in and stay.
