Don't let her shyness fool you! Once Sweet Pea opens up, she completely lives up to her name. Sweet Pea appeared one day at a managed feral cat colony, looking lost, scared and unsure of how to survive.

The colony caretaker worked for weeks to trap her so that she could be TNRed--and thank goodness she succeeded! At only 6 months old at her spay appointment, it was discovered Sweet Pea was suffering from pyometra, a severe and often deadly uterine infection that would have soon taken her life had she remained at large. Because of this, she spent extra time in spay aftercare to heal where it became obvious this little girl was probably never a wandering feral kitten, but likely born indoors and dumped in an area someone thought she'd be cared for. She craves the safety of life indoors, the comfort of a cozy blanket and as much human affection as she can get once she trusts you.

Sweet Pea never deserved to be left to survive on the streets. Her rescue literally saved her life. She will make the loveliest companion to whomever gives her a permanent soft landing place where she can show her gratitude for her second chance at life.
