Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

It's our pleasure to introduce Mr. Kitty, a friendly former street cat who is ready to live a softer and easier life as an indoor boy!

Mr. Kitty has quite the story to share. He was one of two kittens born to an unspayed cat about five years ago. Kind neighbors stepped in to help and were able to catch his sibling and his mom, but they were sadly unable to catch him. Mr. Kitty decided that living life as a lonely tomcat wasn't for him, so he stuck around and befriended a neighbor and his dog, often joining them for their daily walks.

A few weeks ago, the unthinkable happened and Mr. Kitty was attacked by a coyote. He was lucky to have escaped with only wounds to his front legs! His caretaker knew then he needed not only vet care, but a place where he could finally be an indoor boy and live a safe and happy life.

Enter Coastal Purrs! We helped Mr. Kitty's caretaker trap him and got him in to see a vet. He had his wounds cleaned up, was vaccinated, and neutered. Since receiving medical care, he has adjusted very well to life indoors. He learned how to use the litterbox very quickly and has had no issues or accidents. He loves catnip and head scratches, and will roll over and purr when he sees you! We believe he is good with dogs, but are unsure if he is good with other cats or children just yet.

Mr. Kitty is ready for the next step of his journey and is looking a foster home while he waits for his forever home
