Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

ROSIE

Domestic Short Hair
🇨🇦
Vaughan, Ontario
January 24th
female, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

***Rosie is a friendly and affectionate young cat, and must have the company of equally playful and loving cats. Her kittens could be perfect companions, or a social and easygoing cat friend in her new home is definitely a possibility.

Momma Rosie was likely rescued from a neighbourhood house fire that destroyed her home. Her two kittens Reese and Raisin were born indoors along with two other rescued mommacats who also had kittens around the same time.

Rosie is a sweet cat who was shy for about a day when she first arrived at her foster home. She hid under the bed, until dinner was served and out she popped to get her share! Rosie is very much food-motivated, and can be easily bribed with lickable treats. Once she decides all is well, her shyness disappears and she approaches the humans for pets and love. Her purr motor ability has been passed down to her kittens, and there’s nothing more soothing than a symphony of purring, happy cats!

Rosie is a petite, elegantly beautiful cat who has raised two adorable kittens and gave them her sweet genes. She is great with cats, dogs and kids, and would love to go home with one or both of her babies. If not, give Rosie time to settle down first, then introduce a friendly and playful cat gradually, and in no time at all, Rosie will be an integral part of your world!

Would you like to make Rosie and her family a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
