Forrest’s Next Chapter

Forrest is one year old and starting fresh.

Returned through no fault of his own, this handsome boy is now settling in with his new foster mom — and we’re happy to report he’s doing exactly what resilient cats do best... adjusting.

Right now, Forrest is a little shy. Big life changes will do that. But each day he’s coming around more and more, learning that he’s safe again.

And here’s the sweetest part:

✠̈ He LOVES to be combed.

Brushing time is his happy place. The second the comb comes out, he melts into it — soaking up the gentle attention and quietly bonding. It’s his way of saying, “I want to trust you.”

Forrest would do best in:

• A calm home

• Someone who understands that shy doesn’t mean unfriendly

• Someone willing to give him a little time to blossom

At just one year old, he’s:

• Past the tiny kitten chaos

• Young enough to adapt beautifully

Petco in Vacaville, 210 Nut Tree Pkwy from 11am-2pm

Petco in Fairfield, 1320 Gateway Blvd, from 2- 5pm

Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org
