Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Killua is a shy but sweet older kitten who came in with his sister, Alluka, as part of a TNVR program run by an independent trapper. After proving too friendly to be returned outdoors, our rescue was contacted to assist in finding them an adopter! These two have been through a lot together and will need to find a home that can take both siblings together - adopting kittens in pairs is helpful for their socialization and has many behavioral benefits as well!

Adoption Process
Our adoption process helps match pets with their families. After submitting your cat or dog application, we contact references, and schedule a virtual or in-person home visit. We encourage virtual or in-person meet and greets with your potential new companion.
Once everything is approved, we celebrate as your new furry friend officially becomes part of your family!

Adoption Policies
Out of State adoptions are possible for the right match but dependent on transport capabilities.
At this time our adoptions are limited to applicants who are 18 or older.
Virtual meet & greets are available for applicants without an application*
In-person meet & greets are available for applicants with an application*
We require adopters' pets to be up to date on their rabies vaccine as per NYS law and highly encourage additional vaccinations.
*Depending on foster availability and comfort level.

Adoption Fees
By adopting, you're not just gaining a loving companion—your adoption donation helps us continue our mission to save more pets in need. Nearly 90% of our budget goes to cover vet fees for our foster pets.
Dogs
Puppies (up to 1 year): $300
Adult Dogs (over 1 year) 25 pounds : $150-170
Adult Dogs (over 1 year) 25 pounds : $175-200
Cats
Kittens: $100-120
Double Kittens: $175-200
Adult Cats (over 1 year): $80-100
Double Adult Cats: $120-180
