Hello, I'm Lucy. My journey to the shelter is a tale of magic. One day, after being left at a vet's office, I found a shimmering portal behind a potted plant. Curious, I stepped through and was whisked away to a mystical land of endless treats and soft beds. But soon, I missed human companionship. So, I used the portal once more and it led me here, to Paws Animal Shelter. I'm a sweet, independent, and mellow companion, looking for a new home where I can share my calm love and maybe, just a bit of my magical past.

Note from Paws humans: Our shelter works with a couple of local veterinary hospitals, and when they end up with stray or abandoned cats we try to take them in. Lucy is settling in nicely in our Catacabana room, one of our adult cat rooms at the shelter. She isn't particularly playful yet, but she's still getting used to a new environment. She seems to get along well with her roommates, so she would probably do well in a home that already has a couple of cats.
