Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Ripto is a male Domestic Short-Hair Cat who is looking for a new home. He came to the shelter as a stray so we do not know anything about his background. He has been together with another cat here at the shelter so he does do well with other cats, however we are unsure how he is with dogs, or small children. Ripto is litter-boxed trained and we believe he is around 6-8 months old. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required)
The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
