If you're looking for Red Bull in the form of a cute kitten, Lisbon is your girl! She puts the energizer bunny to shame with her endless running, jumping and climbing. Lisbon is very comfortable being handled, and while she may not be the snuggliest of the bunch, if you catch her battery on low she definitely offer some cuddles and purrs. Because of Lisbon's age, she's still learning that hands are not toys and has been studying on how not to use her claws, even though she's playing. She's the perfect mixture of curious, reckless, and all sorts of adorable! If you're ready to add fun and entertainment to your home, Lisbon is your girl!

Lisbon's story did start out difficult as she and her littermates developed metabolic bone disease which we later learned was due to lack of proper nutrition. Additionally, Lisbon got aspirational pneumonia and mega esophagus as a result. We're thrilled to say that with love and care in a foster home and from her medical team, Lisbon's mega esophagus resolved on its own and she now can eat and drink like a normal kitten with no issues! Although she did not experience as severe of bone problems as her littermates, it should be noted that their prognosis for MBD is very positive so long as a a proper diet is continued. Our vet cleared them for adoption with no additional care besides annual vet appts!

Due to still learning manners, Lisbon would do well in a home with kids, so long as the parents are able to keep working to redirect her and use positive reinforcement to ensure she learns proper behaviors. Lisbon has never met a dog, but she does like other cats and would do really well going home to an energetic playmate (either cat or dog) or even being adopted with one of her littermates! She tends to gravitate toward Tokyo more than the others.
