At 7 years old, this handsome gentleman found himself on a timestamp list at another shelter, his future uncertain. But Nacho Fry had other plans. He was transferred to EASEL just in time, and from that moment on, his new beginning began to unfold.

After arriving, Nacho Fry received the medical care he needed, including having some painful teeth extracted by our vet. With that weight lifted and a loving foster home to land in, he slowly started to feel better -- physically and emotionally. Today, he's healthy, comfortable, and ready to start over with a forever family of his own.

Nacho Fry is FIV positive, but that doesn't define him. FIV+ cats can live long, happy, normal lives -- and Nacho Fry can safely live with non-FIV cats without issue. What he needs most isn't special medical treatment... it's someone who sees the wonderful cat behind the label.

While he has made tremendous progress in foster care, Nacho Fry is still learning that people can be trusted. He can be a little short-tempered and reactive at times, occasionally mouthing or hissing when he feels unsure. But underneath that protective exterior is a sensitive soul who truly wants connection.

He adores gentle pets on the top of his head -- and if you've earned his trust, he'll reward you with the sweetest purrs and the most heart-melting biscuit-making. Churu treats? Absolutely his love language. And give him a mouse toy, and you'll see his playful side shine. One small request from this distinguished gentleman: he prefers not to be touched when he's lying on his side with his belly exposed. Boundaries respected = happy Nacho Fry.
