Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Smudge may have started out as a shy little guy, but he's come such a long way-now he absolutely loves attention and will happily ask for pets! He's still getting used to being held, but he's comfortable being picked up and will adorably dangle in your arms while you carry him.

He tolerates brushing (even if it's not his favorite), and his cozy side really shines at home. Smudge loves curling up beside his foster parents on the couch or burrowing under a blanket to tuck himself in. One of his favorite things is a good blanket fort-he'll happily snuggle in for a nap if you build him one!

Smudge is also full of playful energy. He has a wonderfully silly side and can often be found zooming around the house, pouncing on toys, or chasing his siblings. He'll bring lots of fun and laughter to his future home.

He'll do best with someone who's comfortable gently helping him into a carrier when needed (we use a towel to do this safely). Smudge is closely bonded with his brother Midge, and the two must be adopted together-they're the perfect pair and love doing everything side by side.
