Meet Romy (Romeo)!

Romy is a young tuxedo sweetheart with the most adorable little heart-shaped marking on his nose, and trust me, it matches his personality perfectly.

If love could be measured in pets, Romy would choose pets over everything else in life. The moment he realizes you’re offering affection, he melts into you and becomes your instant best friend. He’s already started doing the cutest thing where he backs himself right into your legs and plops down, soaking it all in. We’re pretty sure it’s only a matter of time before he graduates into full-on lap cat status.

He’s also discovering how fun being a kitten can be! Romy is starting to enjoy toys, especially springs, and absolutely loves climbing and lounging in cat trees. If you’ve got a cozy perch for him, you’ll win his heart even faster.

Romy is quite the little conversationalist too. He loves to explore his surroundings and will happily “chat” as he goes, announcing his adventures to anyone who will listen. Expect lots of adorable commentary as he settles into your home.

Because he’s still just a baby, Romy can be a bit shy and sensitive to sudden movements. Loud or quick motions send him scurrying to a safe spot, and he may give a little swat if he’s startled. But here’s the beautiful part, he’s already making amazing progress. In less than a week, he’s learning that people are safe, allowing pets even when you’re standing and moving around him (slow and gentle wins the day!). With a calm voice and reassurance, he settles quickly and leans right back into affection.

Romy is looking for a patient, kind home that will give him the time he needs to fully blossom into the loving, affectionate companion he’s clearly meant to be. In return, you’ll get a chatty, cuddly, heart-nosed best friend who just wants to be close to you.

Like all ACR cats, Romy is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites. Romy is negative for FIV and FeLV.
