Introducing Bruno my shy grey boy. He came to me scared and timid. The victim of an animal mauling (he has some bite wounds on him.) Bruno is brave. He survived the worst so far and is looking for a safe, caring and warm home to live in. During Bruno's assessment period, he was matched up with a lil love bug kitty who rubbed off on him and gave him confidence to trust again.
Despite all that Bruno has been through, he's showing signs of a future lap cat. With the right owner, he will be that cat. Bruno is a slow burn. You'll have to work for his trust and friendship. I believe it's realistic to see results after a month of being in your home with daily TLC. Bruno has learned the behaviours of his roomie and REALLY enjoys pets. He's learning to like being held. My daily handling is increasing before Bruno wants to wiggle away. He first wouldn't allow such closeness. Now, sometimes, he will come when I indicate it.
Bruno likes quiet. I often find him in the quietest parts of the home. He will venture out to where the activity is but it's still overwhelming for him. Bruno loves cats! Older kitties, younger kitties he loves! Humans will take a bit of time. He's worth it though. I often catch Bruno chasing down my resident kitty for play. He's such a good boy.
Bruno must be adopted to a home with a friendly resident cat.
Like all ACR cats, Bruno is up-to-date on vaccines and treated for fleas and parasites.
