Nala will need an adopter who is patient with her and will give her time to trust again. Once she feels comfortable, she is a very sweet, affectionate kitty. She is not playful and would not be a good fit for a family with children who want to play. She is not interested in making kitty friends so she needs to be the only animal in the household. She is very low energy and spends most of her time taking cat naps and looking out the window. She would make a great companion for someone that prefers quiet, undisturbed living. You won't have to worry about 3am Zoomies with Nala.
Nala has had a difficult life. She was hit by a car when she was a kitten and has a wonky foot because of that incident. Her injury is barely noticeable and it doesn't cause her any trouble walking or jumping onto a cat tree. She ended up at a city shelter in the Texas Hill country and was passed around to 7 different foster homes until she was finally adopted. She remained in that home for 7 years until that family had a baby and decided to surrender her. Please visit Nala to see if she is the right fit for you. Nala deserves a home where she can feel content knowing that she won't be surrendered again.
Nala is current on her vaccinations, has been spayed, has a microchip and has tested negative for FIV/FeLv.
