Spicy and his brother Mild were transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. The boys are not aptly named - Spicy is not Spicy and all, and Mild is not particularly mild, he's just a sweet cat. The brothers are not thrilled with the hustle & bustle of shelter life, so Spicy spends a lot of time hiding behind his cat hidey box. He appreciates soft voices & gentle petting, and has been known to reward the humans who take the time to interact with him with a rumbly purr. It is clear that Spicy would like to make a connection with a human - he will likely never be the kind of cat who comes out to greet your guests, but we do believe he'll be a loving companion to the person or family that he knows and trusts. If you'd like to help handsome Spicy live his dream of a calm household with people who care about him. come down to the NHSPCA today!
