Sarsapurrila was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. Folks noting that she has an ear tip may be concerned that she is feral, but rest assured that Sarsapurrila is a sweet but shy young lady who is easy to handle. Some low-cost veterinary clinics in Texas insist on tipping the ears of every cat they fix, which is how Sarsapurrila ended up like this. Sarsa (as her friends call her) is friendly but not super confident; she is anxious due to the hustle & bustle of life in a busy animal shelter. Because of this, we think she'd thrive in a quieter home without small children or noisy dogs. She enjoys gentle human attention and will lean her head into your hand for more petting, plus she'll cuddle close to people who take the time to get to know her. Whoever gets to help this girl acclimate to her new life will be rewarded with a charming companion; she will likely never be the cat who runs to the door to greet strangers, but we believe that she will bond deeply with someone who takes them time to help her feel safe. When Sarsa opens up & gives you her trust, you feel like a superhero! If you'd like to help this bashful beauty find her place in the world, come meet Sarsapurrila today...she's definitely waiting for you.
