Pixie was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. Don't let her cranky face fool you, she is not a grumpy lady despite what she looks like in her photo. In fact, Pixie was purring and making the tiniest little biscuits when that photo was taken. She was encouraging the photographer to put down the phone and give her some petting - and of course, her ploy worked! Pixie is a little nervous due to the hustle & bustle of the shelter environment, but she makes it clear that she would LOVE to have a person of her own. Pixie adores head & neck scratches and she is very affectionate with the people who take the time to befriend her. She would thrive in a calmer household where she can get acclimated and then start showing off her true purrsonality, which we suspect is magnificent. come down & meet pretty Pixie today - she would love to get some gentle attention from you!
