Benny had a real rough start – found in a parking lot, at risk of being run over, without a mom or other kittens anywhere around even though she was too young to be weaned. She was taken in by a rescue group and insisted on being fed IMMEDIATELY. And when she was done, she said, Get that formula out of my face THIS MINUTE! What can we say? She’s always known what she wanted.

So what else does she want? She wants to play! She zooms around the house and attacks toy springs or jingle balls. Or she’ll seek out another cat to tap them—“tag, you’re it!”—then run, hoping they’ll chase her.

And she wants love! She leans into her dogs and her people, and she really enjoys being petted, purring away. She’ll jump into bed to snuggle with her people. (We didn’t list good with kids on her description only because she sometimes play-bites, as many five-month-old kittens will do.)

Benny needs medicated drops and fiber every day to keep her gut healthy, but no other special care. She’s pretty much fearless, so household noises like barking dogs or vacuum cleaners don’t bother her a bit. And she enjoys stretching up to use tall scratching posts.
