Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Winnie is sweet, playful, and chatty. She’s a little lady with a big personality. Winnie is shy around new people and new things but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up and start demanding attention. She loves to play with any kind of toy and enjoys wrestling with the young cats in her foster home. Chasing ball toys, carrying around catnip mice, zoomies with her foster siblings, and curling up under blankets for a cozy nap after lots of play are some of Winnie's favorite activities.

Winnie would do okay with dogs but only if they are mellow dogs and gentle, cat-savvy kids. Winnie likes other cats, but it is not necessary for her to be with other cats. She was a single kitten who was quarantined for a while, with proper play and an attentive human she would do fine as a single cat.

Winnie would not do well with only another older cat in the household unless it was an energetic and playful cat. Winnie would need another playful cat to keep her from trying to play with an older cat that might want to be left alone. She loves the 10 month old kitten we have! They wrestle and play, but she’s too much for my older aloof cats.
