Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

SWEETIE is a . . . well, she's a sweetie! Petite, fluffy, and a handsome mottled grey, Sweetie is around two years old. Her fosters report that they've never seen a happier feline! She warms up quickly to visitors, loves to play with wands and catnip toys, enjoys climbing up and down her cat tree (which will go with her to her forever home) and is addicted to chasing the laser dot around the room. Sweetie is brave and confident, exploring her environment, jumping onto sofas and beds, and curling up on all available blankets. While she has lots of energy, she also likes a quiet cuddle on a human chest or lap, and often reaches out with one paw to connect with her loved ones. Contented and easy going, Sweetie purrs - a lot! Sweetie's elderly owner passed away, and she came into CRAN's care with an older cat, with whom she gets along, although they are not bonded. Sweetie is accustomed to being indoors and likes to look out the window at squirrels and birds, but shows no sign of wishing to escape -- although it's always a good idea to exercise caution around doors and open windows. She's looking for a home with humans who would engage with her sweet personality, and perhaps another playful young cat for companionship and play.

SWEETIE has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.
