Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

MR. SOCKS is a short haired grey striped kitten with a very cute face and perfect little white "socks" on all four feet. Sensitive and shy, Socks prefers to get to know humans slowly, and will grow in confidence as he becomes familiar with new people. He loves to play with his siblings, Lil' Petey and Friday, and is a mama's boy, being quite close to his mom Mawcamber. All three kittens and their mother were rescued by a Good Samaritan and raised in a loving foster home, where they have benefitted from constant loving care. Socks will do well in a quieter home with adopters who will let him blossom in his own time and will be patient with his introverted and more independent nature. Socks is sweet and affectionate, but it will take him some time to adapt to a new situation. Like all kittens, Socks will benefit by being in a home with another playful young cat. He is fond of his brother Lil' Petey, who is also available for adoption, and they play well together. Socks will be a loyal friend and loving companion for the right home.

Socks has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. His adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet.
