Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Marigold is a cuddly, affectionate, clingy, and shy girl. She is a bit reactive because of her background as an outdoor cat but she only has five teeth so her hiss is it. Marigold likes following you around when you’re in the room and she will try to make you stop and cuddle with her. When you’re not in the room she likes to rearrange it. She flips over her bed just for fun or to sleep in, and on it, in funny new ways. One of Marigold's favorite toys is strings.

Oddly enough Marigold enjoys going to the vet and loves saying hi to the veterinarians. She’s very quiet on car rides and I’ve never heard her meow.

Marigold has no dog experience, she does not like other cats and would do best as an only cat. Marigold is very shy and requires a quiet home. She might do ok with older cat savvy kids who understand her needs and respect her preferences.

Marigold is a potential special needs cat but with the right adopter we feel Marigold will continue to thrive and blossom.
