I can see myself curled up in your lap! My name is Vita Nova and I am an adorable gray tabby gal born approximately 3/22/22! I was a bottle fed kitten and had a family who had to move and couldn't take me with them. The moment you walk by, I’ll happily trot over for pets, and sometimes I’ll even reach up toward your legs or chest to politely request a lift. Being scooped up is one of my favorite things… as long as it’s done my way. Now, let’s talk about roommates. I’m going to be honest: other animals are not really my thing. I’ve been known to get pretty hissy and grumbly around other cats, and some dogs too. I would truly shine as the only cat in the house, soaking up all the love for myself. That said, if there happened to be an extremely laid-back, very patient cat or dog around, I might be able to tolerate them with time. Older kids would be fine though. One thing you should absolutely know about me: I LOVE catnip. Sprinkle a little on my blanket and I’m in heaven—rolling around, licking every last tasty flake, and enjoying life to the fullest. Little mouse toys are my favorite—I love batting them around, chasing them, and showing off my impressive hunting skills. And yes… I’m a bit on the chunky side right now. More “extra cuddly” than sleek. I’m working on slimming down, so I’ll need to keep losing weight for a while longer. With the right balance of playtime, love, and good care, I’ll keep getting healthier while still staying just as adorable.
