Hello... I'm a little nervous introducing myself, so please be patient with me.

I'm a beautiful torbie girl with swirls of tabby markings mixed with gorgeous splashes of orange, making me a one-of-a-kind work of art. The shelter is a big, busy place, and all the noise and activity can feel a bit overwhelming for a shy cat like me. I like watching people from a safe distance, and I'm very curious about you-but when hands reach toward me, my courage sometimes disappears and I feel the need to hide.

The people caring for me think there's a sweet and playful kitty hiding beneath my shy exterior. I just need someone who understands that trust isn't something I give away on the first day. It takes me a little time to feel safe, but I want to.

My dream home is a calm, patient one where I can come out of my shell at my own pace. If you're willing to let me take baby steps, I might surprise you with just how much love I have to give. The best friendships are worth waiting for, and I have a feeling mine could be something very special.
