Josephine - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Spokane, Washington

Josephine is looking for a home with other furry friends. She is not shy around humans but she seems to prefer furry friends. Especially big dogs. Josephine is HIGH energy and can be relentless in her desire to play so everyone in her household needs to be ok with being ambushed and ready to rough house with the girl. She came into rescue without a mom and lost all of her siblings early on so she missed out on the discipline that typically comes from living in a cat family. She is learning who she can play with and who she should avoid but she can be a pest.

Josephine has a very loud purr and talks (about food) a lot but at this point is not cuddly. This is probably because she had a bad upper respiratory infection and was on medication for almost two months. She got to associate being held with pills and eye meds. She is getting better but will take some patience. Because she plays rough, she is not a good fit for a home with young kids.
