COURTESY POST: Sole was rescued by a good samaritan in December 2024 and trying to find him a permanent home ever since. Please his bio below.
"I’ve been caring for Sole for over a year now. He came to me as a fragile kitten who beat the typical obstacles of outdoor life; malnutrition, worms & infections which only made him a champ beating the odds!. He has became a healthy, affectionate, playful young cat!. Unfortunately, due to increasing caregiving responsibilities for my elderly parents, I’ve reached a point where I can no longer give him the time and attention he truly deserves. Making the decision to ask for help has been incredibly difficult, but my priority is ensuring he finds a stable, loving home. ’d be so grateful to know he’ll have someone who can give him the care and companionship he thrives on.
Meet Sole (so-lay) — named after the Italian word for sun. he is a bundle of love and energy who truly lights up every room he enters. He’s affectionate, playful, and absolutely adores cuddles, head scratches, and chin rubs (he’ll melt right into your hands). Always ready for action, Sole loves string toys, kicker toys, chasing balls, and letting loose with zoomies — and yes, he actually plays fetch! He’s very food-motivated, learns quickly, and warms up almost instantly to new people when treats are involved.
He even enjoys water — he’ll walk into the shower or splash in a sprinkler or kitty pool with floating toys! Because he spent his early kitten months alone Sole didn’t have much chance to learn gentle play with other cats. He can be a little too bold with calmer feline companions, so he’d do best as the only cat, or possibly with another confident, playful cat after a slow introduction.
He is Neutered, FELV/FIV negative, Up to date on all vaccinations and veterinary care. Recently examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist for a stable corneal condition (symblepharon) and he is currently on Urinary wet food for past history of urinary crystals. Many male cats are on urinary recipe formulas whether it be to avoid urinary bacteria or to prevent further bacteria buildup. Please be aware this is very common!
He has been Socialized with both younger and older humansFull of warmth, curiosity, and heart, Sole is ready to brighten someone’s life — one cuddle, pounce, and splash at a time. With gratitude, John"
