Hi, I'm Augie. I'm the thoughtful one of the duo. I like being near my people, just not glued to them. Think "best buddy sitting beside you" energy.
You can pick me up, and I'm very polite about it, but when it comes to petting sessions, I prefer to sit next to you or perch on something nearby so we can hang out shoulder to shoulder. I enjoy pets and brushing, and I'm playful, especially if toys are involved. Any toy will do. I'm not picky like my sister.
I can be a little shy and nervous at times, but I'm learning. I'm a good listener too. If I get a little mouthy, a gentle "no" and a toy redirect works perfectly. I take feedback seriously.
I get along well with other cats, use the litter box like a champ, and I'm a fan of vertical sisal scratching posts. I'm still figuring out things like nail trims and extended lap time, but I'm making progress at my own pace.
I'd do best in a patient home that understands that trust is something I give thoughtfully. Luckily, I come with my sister Ivy, and she helps me feel brave. We're best suited for a calm, patient home that understands shy kittens bloom beautifully when given time, consistency, and kindness.
