Shorewood, Illinois

male, small, senior
DESCRIPTION
Dylon is a senior brown tabby, who is around 12 years old. He was abandoned in Shorewood alongside another cat with a note to find him a good home. He was understandably nervous and confused but has slowly started to adjust to the shelter. He is still not fully comfortable, and can be a bit grumpy being handled, but is very interested in pets and being with people. We hope with some more time he will get more comfortable. Away from the shelter and cats, he's a cuddly, purring guy who loves pets and rubs! He previously lived with two other cats but has been quite unhappy with the other cats at the shelter so far. Once he is comfortable, he loves pets and cheek rubs. Dylon has IBD, which is well managed with diet and low dose Prednisolone, which he receives once every other day. He is on prescription GI food to help keep his tummy happy! We are looking for an adopter, foster, or foster-to-adopt home for this sweet senior, in hopes he can be more comfortable out of the shelter. Dylon's adoption fee has been fully sponsored by a generous donor!
