Scooter is an 11-year-old sweetheart who came to us when her owner became too ill to care for her. Tragically, her family planned to put her outside...a terrifying prospect for an elderly, declawed cat with few defenses!

At first, she was understandably scared and spent much of her time hiding under her bed. Even then, her gentle nature shone through. Now, while she may still hide a bit, the moment she hears familiar voices, she comes out in search of love and pets.

We're still assessing her comfort with other cats, but we do know she's not a fan of dogs. Scooter grew up in a quiet home and would thrive in a calm, peaceful environment where she can feel secure and adored during her golden years!
