Meet the cookie cats! These kitties came to the Shelter after a good Samaritan took in a cat who had an accidental litter. Madeline came into the home later and hung around as she is approximately the same age as the “kids”. At 6 months of age, these guys are bit more grown but still very much kittens in spirit. They were indoors and litterbox trained in the previous home. They love to play with toys. These kitties have lived with a large breed dog (Great Pyrenees) in a previous home and did well with them. The cookie cats could go to an adoptive home in pairs or on their own. They are available for preadoption – come meet them at the Shelter, fall in love and take them home after their spay or neuter surgeries! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
