DESCRIPTION
Meet Big Red, the orange tabby kitten! Big Red came into he Shelter with his two friends Wintergreen and Spearmint! This trio was found running around as strays. To keep them safe and find their potential families, a good Samaritan brought them to the Shelter. Big Red is the most outgoing of the group – often soliciting play and ready to jump into stranger’s laps. He will likely do well in a variety of homes, including ones with other animals. Any introductions should be done in a slow, thoughtful way. To keep Big Red (and our local wildlife) safe, we are recommended he be indoors only. Big Red is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
