DESCRIPTION

Meet Baby Bones, the senior kitty! Baby Bones arrived to the Shelter after his previous guardian’s lifestyle changed and they were unable to continue caring for him. He was indoor outdoor in the previous home but came into the Shelter injured, potentially after being attacked by something. Our medical team jumped to action to clean up his wounds and start a treatment plan to mend Baby Bones. After a few weeks, Baby Bones has been cleared for adoption. During her medical treatment, Baby Bones was very friendly and easy to handle for medical treatments. Baby Bones has been around children in the previous home and did well. Baby Bones has been around dogs and cats and would prefer to be the only companion animal in his next him. Due to his previous injury when out and about, Baby Bones would do best in an indoor only home moving forward OR with a catio set up where he can get safe access to the outdoors for enrichment. One of Baby Bones' favorite activities is sunbathing. Baby Bones’ adoption fee is sponsored by the Silver Whisker's fund - a fund that is usually reserved for senior pets. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
