Ali has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which simply means his immune system needs a little extra protection. He should be an indoor-only cat and see his vet regularly — that’s all! Many FIV+ cats live long, healthy, happy lives (10–15+ years!) with good care, a nutritious diet, and a safe, low-stress home. FIV is not contagious to humans or other animals, and most FIV+ cats show no symptoms for most of their lives.

In short: FIV+ = special, not sick.

The adoption fee is $150 - we are a small nonprofit volunteer-run rescue, and adoption fees help us to offset some of our expenses like spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and other vet bills for sick animals.
