Bonjour, je m’appelle CARBONE !

Je suis un épatant gentleman félin d'environ 3 à 4 ans, en bonne santé. Je suis un grand garçon musclé au pelage noir lustré et aux grands yeux verts expressifs et étincelants. Certes, je suis un chat des plus séduisants...mais ce qui est plus important c'est que j'adore les gens et je veux beaucoup d'amour en retour !

Je me suis retrouvé au refuge au début mars 2026. J'ai eu la chance d'être recueilli par une gentille personne qui m'a rescapé...affamé et la proie des températures froides. C'est grâce à elle que je suis en vie aujourd'hui puisque je m'étais perdu et j'errais sur leur terrain...A mon arrivée, j'étais frêle et j'avais un vilain rhume; on m'a stérilisé et soigné alors aujourd'hui je vais beaucoup mieux :)

Je suis convaincu que vous aimeriez en savoir davantage sur ma personnalité et mes habitudes. En toute humilité, je me décrirais comme un minet intelligent et chaleureux. L'équipe au refuge me décrit comme étant confiant, extraverti et très affectueux ! Ils m'ont dit que je suis un minet formidable: sociable, amusant et très attachant :)

Ici, il y a plein d'autres chats autour de moi et je les côtoie pacifiquement la plupart du temps...mais je m'ennuie car je préfère être avec les gens. Je possède un caractère joyeux et je suis enjoué à mes heures...modérément actif, il arrive que je cours et je saute partout pour m'amuser mais rassurez-vous, après quelques minutes, je me calme et je redeviens un bon minet tranquille et aimable. Je fais bon usage des jouets et de l'arbre à chat que vous m'offrirez car je suis agile et très curieux. Regarder les oiseaux et les écureuils par la fenêtre me passionne. J'ai aussi très hâte d'avoir un petit lit douillet à moi, pour y faire de longues siestes dans une demeure accueillante. Je raffole des succulentes gâteries - qu'elles soient croquantes ou en tubes crémeux...je vous dévore ça en un rien de temps :)

Il me fait grand plaisir de vous tenir compagnie et je vous suivrai partout dans la maison. Je suis un jaseur - je miaule pour exprimer mes états d'âme ou simplement pour vous raconter ma journée :) Lorsque vous vous installez pour lire ou regarder la télévision, j'irai me coucher sur vos genoux. Notez que j'aime me faire flatter... toutefois, je n'apprécie pas les caresses trop intenses ; je vous avertirai avec un léger coup de pattes si c'est le cas. Le soir, lorsque vous vous couchez, j'aime dormir collé sur vous en vous donnant des bisous...je vous ronronnerai dans les oreilles :)

OK, j'avoue que je suis parfois un petit pot de colle mais je suis aussi capable d'être plus indépendant à mes heures. Maintenant que je suis un chat exclusivement d'intérieur, je crois sincèrement que je pourrai m'adapter rapidement dans mon nouvel environnement si vous êtes patient et indulgent envers moi et avez du temps de qualité à m'accorder. Comme je suis parfois impétueux et fougueux, il serait préférable pour moi d'emménager dans un foyer sans de très jeunes enfants. Quant à la cohabitation avec d'autres chats et/ou des chiens...comme je suis plutôt possessif avec mes êtres aimés, des introductions graduelles seront fortement requises pour assurer une intégration réussie.

Avis aux intéressés...je suis à la recherche d’adoptants aimants et attentionnés qui veulent un compagnon félin espiègle et affectueux qu'ils pourront dorloter à profusion ! Avec moi CARBONE, votre mini-panthère noire préférée, vous ne vous ennuierez jamais et je promets de vous aimer jusqu'à mon dernier souffle !

Hello, my name is CARBONE !

I am a remarkable feline gentleman of about 3 to 4 years old, in good health. I’m a big, strong boy with a sleek black coat and striking, bright green eyes. Yes, I’m quite the handsome fellow… but what truly matters is that I adore people and I crave lots of affection in return!

I arrived at the shelter in early March 2026. I was lucky enough to be rescued by a kind person who found me starving and exposed to the freezing temperatures. Thanks to her, I’m alive today — I had gotten lost and was wandering around her property. When I first came in, I was thin and battling a nasty cold; I was neutered and treated, and now I’m feeling so much better :)

I’m sure you’d like to know more about my personality and habits. With all modesty, I’d describe myself as a clever and warm‑hearted boy. The shelter team says I’m confident, outgoing, and incredibly affectionate ! They even told me I’m a wonderful cat: sociable, fun, and very endearing :)

There are many other cats around me here, and I coexist peacefully with them most of the time… but I get lonely because I prefer being with people. I have a cheerful temperament and can be playful at times. I’m moderately active — sometimes I’ll run and jump around for fun, but don’t worry, after a few minutes I settle down and become my calm, sweet self again. I’ll make great use of the toys and cat tree you give me, as I’m agile and very curious. Watching birds and squirrels through the window fascinates me. I also can’t wait to have a cozy little bed of my own to enjoy long naps in a welcoming home. And treats… oh, I love delicious treats — crunchy ones or creamy tubes, I gobble them up in no time :)

It makes me so happy to keep you company, and I’ll follow you everywhere in the house. I’m quite the talker — I meow to share my feelings or simply to tell you about my day :) When you sit down to read or watch TV, I’ll curl up on your lap. I love being petted… but I don’t enjoy overly intense strokes; if that happens, I’ll gently tap you with my paw to let you know. At night, when you go to bed, I like to sleep snuggled up against you, giving you little kisses… and purring softly in your ears :)

Okay, I admit it — I can be a bit clingy sometimes, but I’m also capable of being independent when I feel like it. Now that I’m an exclusively indoor cat, I truly believe I’ll adapt quickly to my new environment if you’re patient, gentle, and willing to spend quality time with me. Since I can be spirited and enthusiastic, it would be best for me to move into a home without very young children. As for living with other cats and/or dogs… because I can be a little possessive of the people I love, slow and careful introductions will be essential to ensure a smooth transition.
