Meet Licorice!

My name is Licorice, and my life began outdoors until I was trapped and brought inside for safety. Because of my beginning, I'm still learning how to trust people. I move slowly, quietly, and on my own terms. I feel safest when the world around me is calm and predictable.

That's really the best way to understand me. I'm not the kind of cat who will run up for pets or attention, but I am the kind of cat who watches everything, learns your routines, and slowly grows comfortable over time. Every small step I take is a big deal for me, and in turn, a big success.

I LOVE cats, and I'm very bonded to my sidekick, Creampuff. We come as a pair, and we're looking for a home where we can stay happily together.

I may never be a lap cat, but I can be a quiet, steady presence in your home - a cat who blossoms slowly, gently, and honestly. If you believe in patience, respect boundaries, and celebrate tiny victories, I think we could be a wonderful match.
