Wexford - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Sacramento, California

Wexford is an adolescent cat who is a looking for their forever home. Wexford has never heard the saying about cats and curiosity and he wouldn't care if he did - he loves to be the most curious cat in the room! He does have a bit of shy nature, but often his curiosity will get the better of him as he charges forward to check out just what that new toy is or investigate that delicious smelling snack. Once he gets comfortable, you will find just how playful and energetic Wexford can be, even for a kitten. He loves to hunt and chase all the toys, chirruping the entire time. If you want to make sure he is a never bored, adopt one of his siblings with him and they can keep each other company all day long.

Wexford is a graduate of our Hissy Kitty Committee, a behavior modification and enrichment program focused on building the confidence of undersocialized kittens. Hissy Kittens need patience as they adjust to their new homes and often do better when paired with their siblings. Given time and the right reinforcement, these fearful kittens often bloom in their new homes.

I have met other cats in my foster home and enjoy the company. I may do well with proper introductions.
I have met a cat-savvy dog in my foster home and was not a fan, however I may do well with proper introductions and management.
I have no known history with children, I may do well with proper supervision and management.
