Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Sacramento, California

Alyssa has overcome a heartbreaking start and is ready for a fresh beginning. She was found abandoned in an apartment with her three sisters—skinny, starving, and desperately needing care. Thankfully, our animal control officer rescued them just in time. Now safe, nourished, and loved, Alyssa is ready to find the home she truly deserves.

When she first arrived, Alyssa was outgoing and social, but shelter life has made her a bit more cautious—especially now that her sisters have all been adopted and she is on her own. We are confident that once she is in a calm, loving forever home, her bright, confident personality will shine again.

**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays). All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to bring your ID with you too!
